About Bathurst Harness Racing Club

Founded in 1953, Bathurst Harness Racing Club is one of New South Wales’ largest and most successful harness racing clubs outside metropolitan Sydney. Centrally located in the heart of the Central West — just 2 hours from Dubbo and 2.5 hours from Sydney — we have been a hub for racegoers and the local community for over 70 years. The Club began as a night-racing venue on 14 November 1953 and today hosts over 50 race TAB meetings annually. Beyond racing, we provide venue hire and event planning for a wide range of occasions — from corporate events and fundraisers to weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and graduations. Our team is dedicated to creating memories for our members, guests, and the wider community. Whether you’re a racing fan, event planner, or local resident, Bathurst Harness Racing Club offers exciting events, unforgettable experiences, and a welcoming community for all.
