About Battery Storage Europe Platform

The Battery Storage Europe Platform, powered by SolarPower Europe, is an initiative promoting the development and expansion of battery storage across Europe. Our mission is to place storage at the heart of EU energy policy, strengthening Europe’s energy security and competitiveness. By shaping a supportive market framework, advancing smart and sustainable industrial policies, and building a central knowledge hub for the battery value chain, the Platform works to unlock the full potential of storage. Through these efforts, the Platform will establish battery storage as a cornerstone of a resilient, sustainable, and competitive European energy system.
