About Bay Area JusticeCorps

JusticeCorps is a court-based AmeriCorps program that places students and college graduates in Bay area courthouses, where they assist people who cannot afford attorneys. JusticeCorps Members work one-on-one with self-represented litigants in family law, housing, small claims and restraining order cases. All college graduates are eligible to apply for our fellowships. Our Academic year internship positions are open to Students from CSU East Bay, UC Berkeley, Stanford, SF State, San Jose State, Cañada College and College of San Mateo. US Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for JusticeCorps positions. Those who are not eligible for JusticeCorps may be eligible for the Access 2 Justice internship.
