About Beacon Signal
Beacon is building a new civic commons for modern public life: a proof and action platform that helps people understand what matters, see where the public stands, and hold leaders accountable through source-linked information and practical tools to act. Beacon is not a social platform, a legacy media outlet, or a partisan commentary brand. It is a new model for trusted information, public sentiment, and civic accountability, built for the way people live, read, share, and participate today. Our platform brings together three core experiences in one simple daily product: Trending Issues, which surfaces the most important issues of the day; Pulse, which captures real-time public sentiment through short, mobile-native surveys; and Beacon Score, which applies transparent standards to evaluate whether leaders’ words and actions align with the public record. Every Beacon output is designed to be clear, source-linked, and easy to verify. The goal is not to add more noise. It is to give people a calmer, more reliable way to understand public life and participate with confidence. Beacon serves citizens, media partners, institutions, advocacy organizations, and leaders who need a clearer way to understand issues, measure sentiment, and strengthen accountability. Beacon turns proof into participation.
