About Beautiful Places AI

Beautiful places, in their many forms from natural landscapes to built environments, are not a luxury but a necessity for thriving, joyful communities. Beauty is more than aesthetics: it lifts our spirits, strengthens our sense of community, and enhances the spaces where we live and interact. Using the combined power of machine learning and community contributions, we're on a mission to map one million beautiful places around the world. This isn't just a collection of famous landmarks. Our democratic approach means beauty is defined by collective human insight, capturing everything from celebrated landscapes to overlooked local gems. Our goal is to reveal the value and characteristics of beautiful places, so the world can access them more easily and manage them better. This data helps organisations and individuals make better decisions about places, whether that's where to live, what to protect, or how to develop. It also has broad commercial applications, from enriching how people search for homes and discover destinations, to informing urban planning and placemaking. We believe our data is more than informational: it's infrastructure for a more beautiful world.
