About Bergen Family Center
Bergen Family Center (BFC) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, serving nearly 5,000 people, including over 1,000 local families in Bergen County, New Jersey. Our mission is to strengthen communities by providing services to individuals, families and children to enhance their ability to function independently, to manage challenges, and to ultimately improve the quality of their lives. Bergen Family Center is a recognized community leader in providing quality and comprehensive human services to people of all ages. Programs and services we offer: -Leonard Johnson Early Learning Center - Daycare, Pre-K, After-School and Summer Camp -School-Based Youth Services at Dwight Morrow High School and Janis Ed. Dismus Middle School -An adult Day Program and Elder Care Services for Senior Citizens -Counseling Services for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, sexual violence, marital stress, parent-child conflict and workplace stress - Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-School Youngsters (HIPPY) Program and our Mentoring Anyone?
