About Bergman Academy

At Bergman Academy, a secular private school located in the heart of Greenwood Park at the former Science Center of Iowa, we pride ourselves on intentionally small class sizes, differentiated education, and a commitment to academic rigor, while encouraging a joy of learning in each child. In preschool through eighth grade classrooms, teaching staff commit to investigating the newest teaching methods to ensure each child is challenged and supported in reaching their own individual potential. Equipped with unique learning spaces, a science lab, and the natural setting of Greenwood Park, Bergman Academy differentiates through project-based and experiential learning opportunities which engage students both inside and outside the classroom.
