About Berita Harian Singapura

Founded in July 1, 1957, Berita Harian is the only Malay-language daily that provides comprehensive coverage of the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore. We complement this with an extensive coverage of local and regional news (focussing on Malaysia, Indonesia and the Middle East). At Berita Harian, our commitment extends beyond the newsroom. We engage directly with schools, community groups, and families, organising workshops, forums and dialogue sessions that strengthen our bonds with the Malay community. Through our multiple platforms, Berita Harian tell the stories of our people, we celebrate their achievements, and honour those who inspire us to strive for greater things. Our goal is to build an informed, active, and engaged community. We are the Voice of the Singapore Malay Community.
