About Betshield Responsible Gaming

Responsible gaming is a powerful marketing tool. It builds trust, enhances transparency, and strengthens long-term player engagement—making operators key contributors to a more sustainable market. BetShield is a Brazilian tech company born with a clear mission: to drive the continuous evolution of the global iGaming industry through innovation in responsible gaming. At the core of BetShield is PcIM (Predictive, Cross-Operator, Independent Monitoring)—a platform that tracks player behavior, identifies risk patterns, and triggers real-time alerts, equipping operators with the insights they need to act in line with their own policies. PcIM stands out for its independent analysis and ability to operate across multiple operators—a necessity in a market where players hold multiple accounts and frequently switch platforms, influenced by balance availability, odds, and promotions. A single at-risk player can affect the entire chain, making early intervention critical. BetShield also powers Pausebet.com.br, a centralized hub that brings visibility to self-exclusion and supports responsible gaming across Brazil’s regulated betting market. While a national self-exclusion platform has yet to be officially defined by regulators, Pausebet serves as a secure, confidential bridge between players and operators—allowing individuals to voluntarily register their intent to self-exclude, temporarily or permanently, through a single, streamlined platform. These requests are shared with licensed operators, enabling timely and appropriate action. A win-win-win solution—benefiting players, operators, and regulators alike, while paving the way for a safer, more responsible betting ecosystem.
