About bettervest GmbH

bettervest is an online crowdfunding platform that finances sustainable development projects across the globe through impact investmetns and donation crowdfunding. With the help of ordinary citizens, we provide companies or organisations with the financial means to implement renewable energy as well as energy and resource efficiency projects. These range from retrofitting buildings with LED lighting to installing Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems or purchasing Solar Home Systems. From as little as 50€ onwards, retail investors can jointly finance these measures and benefit from the resulting cost reductions or generated revenue, while knowing they have had a positive environmental and social impact. For Donation Crowdfunding, donations start at 10€ in impactful, certified non-profit organizations. With over 140 successfully funded projects we have reduced emissions by more than 2 million tons of CO2 - and counting! And thanks to the support of our investors more than 175,000 people in developing countries now have access to clean and reliable energy.
