You need to take care of your mind as you do of your body. I am a certified Zentangle teacher and NLP coach. I teach simple activities with paper and pens to achieve mindfulness. I love to call this Art Positivity. My youngest student has been 5 and oldest 90! Wouldn’t it be great to still your mind and have no internal dialogue for some time every day! Simply put, meditative art is to the mind what yoga is to the body. There are no mistakes in the expression of creativity. Letting go and creating without worrying about the outcome fuels amazing involvement and results.
