About Beyond Music Lessons

Hi I’m Kevin, founder of Beyond Music Lessons, a Piano Coach and music educator who helps homeschooling parents confidently integrate piano lessons and music education into their homeschool curriculum—even if you’ve never played an instrument and feel pressed for time. You might be wondering: Will my child actually learn something meaningful? Can piano lessons support cognitive development and discipline? How do I stay consistent with music practice without adding stress to our homeschool day? That’s exactly why I created my patented homeschool music curriculum. It’s designed to make piano instruction and music coaching simple, structured, and impactful—while supporting child development, creativity, focus, and character. Children don’t just learn how to play the piano; they learn how to practice with purpose, persevere through challenges, and express themselves with confidence. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with hundreds of homeschooling families as a piano teacher and coach, building a collaborative learning model that strengthens accountability between parents, students, and instructors. Parents don’t need a background in music—I provide the system, guidance, and ongoing support so homeschool music education stays consistent, effective, and enjoyable. And yes, the joy is real—whether it’s daily piano practice or sharing music together during special moments like Christmas Day. If you’re a homeschooling parent looking for piano lessons, music coaching, or a complete homeschool music solution that feels achievable and meaningful, I’d love to connect. Send me a message and tell me a little about your child—I’m always happy to start the conversation.
