About Bhagat Foundation NGO

The Bhagat Foundation, an esteemed NGO committed to the cause of underprivileged children, has been diligently working since 2011 to provide free education and essential resources to those residing in slum areas and living below the poverty line. Our organization not only imparts knowledge but also ensures that each child receives the necessary materials, including books, uniforms, and meals, enabling their enrollment in schools for further education. Moreover, we take upon ourselves the responsibility of catering to their ongoing needs within the school environment, fostering their development and nurturing a vision that transcends the constraints of poverty. Our steadfast dedication lies in ensuring literacy among the non-literate members of our society. We endeavor to spread awareness about education through compelling public awareness programs disseminated via mass media platforms. In times of natural calamities, we extend functional support by providing crucial assistance, sustenance, educational materials, uniforms, and mid-day meals. By doing so, we not only meet their immediate needs but also strive to safeguard vulnerable children from falling prey to detrimental influences and negative societal associations, reinforcing the importance of primary and social education in our nation. The resounding success of our initiatives is evident today, as our organization has flourished from its modest beginnings with just six children to presently serving an impressive number exceeding 350 underprivileged individuals. This accomplishment has been made possible through rigorous surveys and extensive visits to numerous slum areas, allowing us to identify and address the pressing educational needs of these marginalized children. Established on September 15, 2015, the Bhagat Foundation envisions a future where poverty is not a deterrent to accessing quality education.
