About BI-K Energy
BI-K Energy is a deep tech start-up focused on developing reversible heat pum (RHP) technologies for low enthalpy heat recovery. We design industrial machinery capable of harnessing waste heat from data centres, industrial processes and naval applications, transforming it into useful energy and reducing the overall energy requirements of the systems. BI-K’s patented RHP (Reversible Heat Pump) Platform is a 3-in-1 modular system that operates across 30–70°C , the core temperature range for liquid-cooled IT infrastructure: • Thermal UPS guaranteed cooling during grid/chiller failure • Capacity Unlock – reduces chiller electrical load, freeing power for IT • Revenue Generator – monetizes waste heat at €30–50/MWh via district heating This architecture enables effective applications even with low enthalpy (35–70 °C), which is typically not recoverable with conventional technologies. BI-K Energy develops modular and scalable solutions for reducing PUE, OPEX and emissions, with a focus on data centres and energy-intensive industries.
