About Big Brothers Big Sisters of Taranaki

We help ignite youth potential through a one-to-one mentoring programme. Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a consistent relationship between an adult and a young person (aged between 6 and 10) who has faced adversity in their life. The exceptional success of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Taranaki belongs to the wider community, especially our volunteer mentors who support this great initiative. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Taranaki now employs six staff, and has more than 100 matches in Waitara, New Plymouth, Inglewood, Stratford and Hawera.
