About Big Skies

Big Skies is a unique initiative set within the UNESCO-listed iSimangaliso Wetland Park, committed to sustainable tourism and support of local communities. Our three nature camps, each offering a different perspective of this diverse region, allow visitors to explore the natural beauty while ensuring minimal environmental impact. Our approach is rooted in respect for the environment and the people who live within it. By partnering with local communities, we aim to provide meaningful and educational experiences that contribute to both conservation and community well-being. At Big Skies, guests can expect tranquil settings for their beach holidays, intimate hosting, and the opportunity to learn about the area's rich ecosystems and cultural heritage. Our experiences are designed to be immersive yet unintrusive, balancing exploration with conservation. Join us to discover the serene beauty of iSimangaliso, contribute to meaningful initiatives, and enjoy a stay that’s in harmony with nature and local traditions.
