About BIM in Asset Management

BIM and digital asset information is critical to effective asset management but we need to be much clearer in telling design and construction teams what we need. But who is we? FM, PPM, Fire Safety, Compliance Helpdesk, Lifecycle, Space Management, Energy and Carbon reporting all have different needs. We need a strong collaboration between subject matter experts in all things asset management to provide BIM teams with the information they need, to give us the information that we need. BIMinAM takes the amazing contributions we have had in BIM4Housing and applies them to other types of facilities – tweaking them to suit.
