About Binomi design

inomi is a graphic design practice based in East London, founded in 2016 by Bianca Baldacci and Noemi Caruso. Combining our names gave us the Italian word Binomi (‘binomial’) – suggesting the process of twinning two elements. This reflects the coming together of our professional backgrounds and the distinct skills that we bring to each project. Our approach is based on a collaborative way of working with clients. We start each project with in-depth background research and explain our vision to the client before starting the design process. Our graphic design work is based on creative and strategic thinking. No element is arbitrary, instead founded on aesthetic and conceptual coherence. Binomi works with clients from the cultural and commercial sector, developing projects that include identities, books and magazines, campaign materials, packaging, digital and environmental graphics. Since 2016 we have worked as art directors for Kings Place, a multi-arts venue in King’s Cross, London; we designed the relaunch of the venue’s magazine, produced their print and digital promotional materials, and continue to art direct their annual ‘Unwrapped’ series. → Selected Clients Kings Place, Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment, The David Parr House, COSBI Fondazione The Microsoft Research – University of Trento – Centre for Computational and Systems Biology, Babel Label, Dulwich Picture Gallery, London Smoke & Cure, Europe Energy, Fleap, Casita Press, Chroma Pictures, Camerata Alma Viva, Capucci, Danilo Correale, ADC, Corna, Acams, The Vortex Foundation, Studio Zao, FESTIVAL.ORG, Space Studios, London Creative Network, Lucio Vanotti, Piccolo Bacco dei Quaroni, Jan Van Eyck Academy, Archive Books
