About Biograf International Film & Moving Arts Festival

BIOGRAF is an international film festival that explores the artistic intersections of cinema, embracing it as a complete vehicle for dialogue and reflection. Rooted in the idea of incompleteness, BIOGRAF curates a reintroduction to regional filmmaking: one that brings together visual and plastic arts, alternative film narratives, moving images, and soundscapes. In August 2026, Cerveira builds a common house with the world. BIOGRAF is part of a wider cultural revitalisation initiative in Cerveira, forming the inaugural agenda of the Palco das Artes de Cerveira, launched in 2024. The project is cofinanced by the Cerveira Municipality & International Art Biennial.
