About Bion Environmental Technologies

Bion’s unique and patented Ammonia Recovery System (ARS) captures and stabilizes the volatile ammonia freed up when biogas/RNG is produced from an organic waste stream, like animal manure, food and food processing waste. It transforms the ammonia, a serious environmental liability, into a high-value organic nitrogen fertilizer that can be precision applied when and where needed. The ARS can be used as a standalone ammonia control solution for biogas production or anchor a comprehensive waste treatment and resource recovery platform for large-scale livestock production. Bion's tech was developed for the livestock industry, that is under the microscope for its substantial environmental and public health impacts. A comprehensive Bion platform can largely eliminate the environmental impacts of large-scale production while improving operational and resource efficiencies by recovering valuable fertilizer products, renewable energy and clean water from the waste stream. Bion’s unique and patented technology platform can help transform both the $175B U.S. animal protein sector and the way we manage our soil, air and water quality. Bion's patents were recently extended to industrial and municipal waste streams, in addition to animal manure waste, and the Company is exploring its opportunities in those sectors.
