About Birchfield Community Association

Birchfield Community Association (BCA) is a registered charity (No. 1193147) established in January 2021 as part of the legacy of the ten-year Birchfield Big Local programme. Led by residents, the organisation aims to bring together local people's gifts, passions, skills, and aspirations to identify and address local needs and priorities, ultimately making the area a better place to live and work. BCA is located at the Wilton Road United Reformed Church, which serves as a community hub—a central point for activities, meetings, and community organising. The organisation's work includes celebrating the area's diverse culture and heritage, enhancing the environment, promoting health and economic well-being, and supporting local social enterprises. Through its partnership with the Birmingham Community Action Network (B:CAN), Birchfield Community Association collaborates with other organisations to address local issues and support community development.
