About Bitcoin Journey

Dedicated to empowering individuals through Bitcoin education and consulting. At Bitcoin Journey, we focus on teaching people about Bitcoin in a simple and accessible way. With over seven years of experience and certification as a Bitcoin Professional by C4, Francisco provides personalized in-person and online sessions/workshops that, through understanding and practice, enable individuals to confidently navigate the Bitcoin ecosystem. Core teaching areas include: Bitcoin Fundamentals: Understanding what Bitcoin is and how it works, exploring the roles of nodes, miners, and consensus, as well as the functionality of the decentralized network. The Importance of Self-Custody: Bitcoin represents digital scarcity that can be truly owned, but ownership is only achieved through self-custody. This includes learning about cold storage and best practices for securing Bitcoin. Reading the Blockchain: Bitcoin’s transparency allows for real-time verification of all transactions, from the first to the most recent. This area explores how Bitcoin operates by conducting live on-chain and Lightning Network transactions, demonstrating its power firsthand.
