About Biz Hippo

Biz Hippo is an accounting outsourcing firm, created specifically to serve founder-run small- and medium-sized businesses. The accounting function is a necessary, but burdensome part of a business. Biz Hippo can remove that burden and provide a cost-effective and efficient alternative. Using cloud and collaborative technologies, we provide transparency to the outsourced accounting process. However, we remove the decision makers from the day-to-day management of the data and instead provide meaningful analysis to help owners make critical decisions. We also provide a more complete accounting solution, assisting with compliance of federal and multi-state tax issues, including payroll and sales taxes. Biz Hippo’s group of talented staff have owned and worked in small businesses for decades. Accountants by training, they see accounting as part of an overall business process. If these internal processes are as efficient and meaningful as possible, the owners can use the valuable information to appropriately allocate a business's limited resources. We specialize in using technology to make your accounting and business processes more efficient. We are excellent at formulating creative solutions to business problems. We recognize that business issues are often a symptom of a different underlying problem, so we look at processes as a whole to help owners create appropriate solutions.
