About Black Freedom Fund

Black Freedom Fund is California’s first Black community foundation — a permanent and independent institution dedicated to investing in the leaders, organizations, and ideas that are advancing a bold vision for Black communities and improving the lives of everyday people. Together, we’re securing a future where all Black people can live with dignity, safety, opportunity, and power.
