About Black Picture Co.

Many years ago we picked a side. The side of the viewer, whose space we are intruding on, who has nothing to gain from watching an ad, whose attention and time is more expensive than a Super Bowl spot. We found that human insights were that one shared truth, that told the viewer that here’s a brand that gets you. And, so authentic storytelling, believable faces, how a product served the story (not the other way round) became a means to build on this implicit trust. We’ve spent every moment of these past years obsessing, observing and curating insights, to find the magic in the everyday and make advertising enjoyable, believable and worth the viewers time. Key campaigns the team is known for include the Spikes and One Show winner IKEA ‘Ads that Skip you’, the Spotify IPL ‘Life is better with Music’ and the Gold Cannes winning ‘Airtel 175'. All of which have the distinction of having won the greatest international awards. The bigger win though is the relicensed commercials that signals effectiveness like nothing else. With repeat clientele in brands like IKEA, Samsung, Spotify, Dell, Airtel, etc., across the USA, UK, and India we believe it is reflective of our ability, to understand, protect, and define brand language in a world that is severely impacted by sameness.
