About BloggerMe

Australia will at some point become a republic. Australia has already commenced that journey to independent statehood. The argument you will see on Blogger Me is an important part of that journey. Blogger Me will not argue the merits of republicanism. Instead, this blog site will explore what a new Australia might look like, when the reality of a truly independent Australia starts to take hold. In fact, we think that it is an exciting moment. The focus on BloggerMe is regionalism with a difference. It is based on a simple concept of the flow of water. But this links with a huge number of key concepts because Australia is so impacted by water, and has been for 60,000 years. When people start to understand what is really happening, it is a moment when real change becomes possible, in a way that we have not seen in the past. Blogs include key concepts that impact on the need for regional mind-change in Australia, such as Indigenous Treaty, global warming & climate change, sea level rise, weather, 2030, refugees & asylum seekers, voice & representation in the parliament, abolition, etc.
