About Blue Carbon

Blue carbon is committed to providing environmental security for future generations by addressing both climate and biodiversity crises. The climate crisis is devastating, with natural disasters occurring at unprecedented levels, displacing millions. Life on earth is declining at a dangerous rate, and millions of species are nearing extinction. We must hit net zero carbon emissions by 2030 to protect 30% of land and oceans. Our ocean holds 50x more carbon than the atmosphere and 20x more carbon than plants and soil. Blue Carbon is at the forefront of shaping a sustainable future amidst the environmental crisis with a tech solution that unlocks the power of the ocean to secure our planet’s future. oPod pumps nutrient-rich, deep sea water to the ocean's surface - locking away Co2 and rejuvenating essential marine life food sources. Our Ocean Garden delivers sustainable aquaculture, using coastal currents to transport nutrients to neighboring kelp and oyster gardens. Initial estimates indicate one Ocean Garden could remove over 3000 tonnes of Co2 annually. Reach out to explore how together, we can forge a sustainable future for our planet.
