About Boston One Dragon Boat Team

Boston 1 is a non-profit sports club on a mission to empower people to take ownership over their physical, mental and spiritual lives through the sport of dragon boat. During the off-season, we train following individualized sport-specific programs. When the water's warm, we paddle as a team 3x/week to train for competitions from the local to the international scale. In July 2018, Boston 1 competed at the 2018 World Championships in Hungary as the only American crew in its race division category. Our culture, "1 Crew, 1 Goal, 1 Family," places our values of teamwork, humility and trust over everything else. Our motto, "Paddle Hard, Fear Nothing," is to teach our athletes to stand firm and continue pushing forward when facing adversity.
