About Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute - BDRI

The Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute (BDRI), founded in 2005, is dedicated to the research and conservation of marine mammals. Our long-term studies of bottlenose dolphins are among the most extensive in the world, providing critical insights into dolphin behavior, communication, habitat use, and interactions with humans. Beyond field research, we are committed to education and public engagement, sharing our findings through scientific publications, presentations, and training programs for students, volunteers, and professionals. By combining rigorous science with outreach, BDRI works to protect dolphins, whales, and their marine environment while fostering a global appreciation for marine conservation.
