La Bourse de Sous-Traitance et de Partanariat du Mali (BSTP-MALI) is a platform for promoting outsourcing, partnerships and local content development in all strategic sectors of the economy. Its main mission is to facilitate the rapprochement between Contractors and Subcontractors and suppliers of goods and services, particularly in Mines & Quarries, Industries, Infrastructures, BTP, Banks, Insurance, Services and other. It was created in July 2011 following a study based on the identification of subcontracting and partnership needs in the Republic of Mali with technical support for the BSTP of Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. The BSTP-MALI is composed of a multi-stakeholder Steering Committee, a Monitoring Committee and a Directorate. The Steering Committee, the Stock Exchange’s governing body, is composed of sectoral ministries, consular bodies, employers' and socio-professional organisations and specialised technical directorates. The BSTP-MALI has digital tools to facilitate the establishment of links, including the database of the BSTP/UEMOA Network, mobile applications and an intermediary site. It is a tool for strengthening the capacities of SMEs/ SMIs, identifying and diagnosing operational resources of companies and certification/ labelling of companies. The BSTP-MALI plans to establish a single database of Principals, Subcontractors and suppliers of goods and services in the Republic of Mali and to provide Mali with a National Charter on Outsourcing and Partnership.
