About Brain Injury Association Peterborough Region
Brain Injury Association Peterborough Region (BIAPR) is a registered, not-for-profit charitable organization, funded through Ontario Health East. We serve the Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton and Northumberland communities by providing non-medical resources and supports. BIAPR supports are determined at Intake. The Application for Service is reviewed, and the Intake Coordinator contacts the person applying for service and/or with the referral source. A client needs assessment (CNA) is completed during part of the intake process. This information will help to determine the supports and services that best fit the client’s needs. This also helps us to ensure that these same supports and services are in scope for our BIAPR staff to provide in the community.
