About Brave Beginnings

Brave Beginnings is a registered charity that matches women survivors of abuse, violence, or oppression with trained mentors, helping them rebuild their lives through friendship and support. Together, each pair embark on a year-long journey of mentorship, working together to help the survivor reach their personal goals, and providing support, friendship and empathy along the way. Samra Zafar, the founder, is an award-winning international speaker, bestselling author, and social entrepreneur who advocates for equity, inclusion, and human rights.
