About Bremner Music Ltd

Manufacturer of practice mutes for brass instruments---sshhmutes. Needing to practice at odd times and in odd places over the years, award winning cornetist Trevor Bremner saw a need for an effective practice mute priced to suit budding musicians and professionals alike. After several years of research the sshhmute is now in commercial production, resulting in the bst practice mute ever, out performing anything available on the market today. An advantage of the sshhmute design is the very small amount of back pressure it creates. This allows for better air supply, while still opening and developing the throat muscles. The mute remains in tune and accurate throughout the entire range.
