About Brightworks School

Brightworks is an independent, project-based and engagement-driven K-12 school located in the Richmond district of San Francisco. Brightworks is an extraordinary school where children: - Learn by exploring, questioning and making in a flexible, mixed-age environment - Exercise agency, by co-creating and curating their learning with engaged adults - Get to know themselves well, develop resilience, self-awareness, and tenacity through project development, execution, and reflection. Curious learners can also check out our online resources and in-person workshops and camps at Tinkering School. At-home and in-school tinkering kits are available from Tinkering Labs.
