The British Emerging Manager Institute was founded in 2024 to provide the next generation of emerging managers and independent sponsors in private and public markets with the content, community and capital to succeed. We believe that as the costs of launching an alternative asset manager, and the expectations of institutional investors, increase, many talented investors may perceive the challenges of designing, launching, funding and scaling an investment platform to be too great, and asset owners will miss the opportunity to invest alongside those investors.
