About BSMS Medical Society

Welcome to BSMS MedSoc (Medical Society), the society for all students studying at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. We provide a supportive community for students, promoting academic excellence, professional development through sports and culture, and collaboration via our social events. We offer you the opportunity to get involved in over 50 different societies that focus on so many different things, including medical specialties, religion, culture, and hobbies! And every year, each society puts on a number of different events! Sports is also big at BSMS, we have 9 teams this year; netball, men's and women’s football, men's and women’s rugby, tennis, badminton, basketball, and mixed hockey. All teams are open to all abilities! And twice a year we battle it out for dominance in the south vs. Southampton and Kent medical schools; it’s an occasion that can’t be missed!
