About Buckinghamshire Adult Learning

At Buckinghamshire Adult Learning we provide inclusive learning opportunities to promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential. With over 1,500 courses to choose from there is something to suit everyone, from all ages, walks of life and abilities. Whether you want to improve your skills, gain a long desired qualification, study for an apprenticeship, or just fancy trying a new hobby we’ve got a course for you. We are the main provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in Buckinghamshire, graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in July 2024. A broad programme of taught courses, workshops and online learning is delivered from almost 140 locations across the county including dedicated Adult Learning centres, schools, community and employer premises. We provide courses for individuals in all aspects of life, work and leisure. This includes Apprenticeships, English, maths, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), creative studies, digital skills, health and fitness, languages, home improvements and gardening. Courses are available daytime, evening and weekends for most of the year.
