About Buffalo Film Works

Buffalo Filmworks is the premier full-service motion picture studio in Upstate New York — and has one of the largest sound stages in the Eastern U.S. Located at 370 Babcock Street in Buffalo, NY, our facility features over 200,000 sq ft of stage space plus 60,000 sq ft of flexible production support areas, with multiple soundstages designed for blockbuster films, television series, commercials, and more. As a Women owned business and NYS Qualified Production Facility (QPF) situated in the enhanced 40% tax credit zone (including renewal and empowerment areas), we enable productions to qualify for New York's competitive state incentives plus the federal Section 181 tax benefit — allowing immediate deduction of qualified production costs to maximize investor appeal and keep more filming in the U.S. We deliver unparalleled space, infrastructure, and incentives to help productions maximize their vision while benefiting from New York's competitive film ecosystem. Since our founding in 2017, we've been the home to iconic projects including A Quiet Place II, Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, and numerous others, contributing to Western New York's booming film and TV industry. Whether you're producing the next big feature, episodic series, or creative campaign, Buffalo Filmworks provides the scale, flexibility, and local expertise to bring your story to life. Let's create something extraordinary.
