About Bunavat

Bunavat is a slow fashion for-profit social enterprise working with last-mile weavers and artisans and is focused on traditional handwoven weaves and crafts with a contemporary design aesthetic. Bunavat's philosophy is rooted in the principles of responsible production, social responsibility, and cultural preservation. Taking a thoughtful approach to the entire lifecycle of the products, we design with integrity to produce timeless styles working only with natural fibres and environment friendly dyes. We envision Bunavat as a catalyst for change, encouraging sustainable fashion, enabling more craftspeople, and promoting traditional Indian textiles on the global stage.
