About Cabinet Painting Vancouver

Jon, the founder of VCP and owner of The Shore Decor painting, saw many beautiful but outdated kitchens demolished to make way for newer, more contemporary versions. Often times the cabinets that were being demolished were constructed to a higher standard than today’s cabinets, but just lacked a contemporary feel. The housing construction industry, one of BC’s largest industries, is also one of the largest contributors of waste to our landfills. Jon realized that with just a stylish solid colour choice and some new contemporary hardware, a kitchen could be literally transformed. Cabinet refinishing eliminates the huge cost of demolishing cabinets and buying and installing new cabinets. It also removes the environmental cost of all that demolished material hitting our local landfills. So Jon set about discovering how to do it as efficiently as possible, with paints safe to use in the home, and all while still achieving a factory finish that will stand the test of time.
