About Calatea Design

Calatea is a Panama-based home design brand created to spark creativity and self-expression through art-filled pieces. Founded by designers with over 15 years of experience, our work is inspired by the richness of tropical culture and biodiversity, while always grounded in global décor trends and the practical rituals of modern living — gathering, hosting, and setting the table with intention. We design tabletop pieces that feel expressive yet refined — playful but purposeful. Every collection is created with both soul and scalability in mind, blending artistry with retail awareness. We believe everyday moments deserve thoughtful design.
