About Calgary Queer Arts

Calgary Queer Arts Society is an integral part of Alberta’s creative ecosystem. Our events and experiences by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and supporters generate dignity, creativity, inclusion, opportunity, Queer joy, and cultural transformation through the arts. We are working toward a world where Queer art is celebrated as part of our shared humanity. And we are doing this by supporting and amplifying Queer artists, makers, and storytellers; as well as fostering opportunities for community connections through arts and culture. Calgary Queer Arts programming includes: - Fairy Tales Queer Art & Film Festival - The Coming Out Monologues & Arts Exhibition - Creative Community Workshops & Events - Artist in Residence Program Calgary Queer Arts endeavours to create warm, welcoming, inclusive programming and events. We could not do this without the generous support of our funders, corporate partners and donors. Thank you!
