About California Cannabis Operators Association

The California Cannabis Operators Association (CaCOA) represents the backbone of California's legal cannabis industry - the licensed operators across the supply chain who work to ensure safe, tested, and accessible cannabis for consumers every day. Our unified voice, with over 200 operators across over 90 municipalities, serves more than 50% of California's population. CaCOA members are committed to public health, consumer safety, youth protection, and community well-being while advocating for policies that foster a thriving, regulated marketplace. We bridge the gap between policymaking, community interests, and the sustainability of California's world-renowned cannabis industry, while championing strong labor standards. Our members also employ unionized workers, ensuring the industry's growth benefits businesses and communities.
