About California Manufactured Housing Institute

Since 1937 California Manufactured Housing Institute has been advocating for the Manufactured Housing Industry. Established as a non-profit professional and trade association, CMHI has proudly represented builders of factory constructed homes, retailers, financial services, developers and community owners and their supplier companies. The Institute was founded to advance the availability of factory constructed homes by promoting the sale of factory constructed housing and the development of desirable sites and communities in California. Additionally, CMHI provides Manufactured Housing News to both trade and consumers, which benefits the Manufactured Housing Community at large.
