About Calm Waters Group

Calm Waters Group is a certified California small/micro business focused on capacity building, technical assistance, and inclusive community engagement for the most controversial and complex environmental challenges. www.calmwatersgroup.com We have broad experience engaging federal, state, local governments, tribes, and NGOs in the development of more equitable watershed, air quality, site cleanup, climate action, resilience plans, and hazard mitigation plans. We help non-profits, tribes, and small and large government agencies identify, prioritize, and get access to what they need. Our experience is based on the core concept that to make progress, communities and community based organizations need to have the training and background to actively engage in and affect processes that impact their community.
