About Calvert House

As the Newman Center at the University of Chicago, our mission is to hand on the tradition of the Faith by fostering the sacramental, liturgical, and Catholic intellectual life here on campus. We are a community of students and faculty who foster the pursuit of justice by putting faith into action, and we accompany students as they discern their vocation, and develop into leaders for the Church and for society.
