Campos Costa Architects was founded in 2007 as an interdisciplinary research and development practice to inform architectural design. Costa Campos Architects rigorous approach to architecture drives decision-making processes between design teams and suppliers with the aim of creating an integrated project. The office portfolio has developed and delivered projects at different scales, from buildings to household furniture (Quarteira´s Seafront and Municipal Market, Lisbon Aquarium extension, 13 Longue Chair/Salone del Mobile, Milano, Ozadi Tavira Hotel extension and rehabilitation among others). The office has received numerous awards and honours. Most recently winner of FAD 2015 award in the category of architecture with OZADI Tavira hotel for the best iberian building. Among others awarded with: Prémio Valmor” by Lisbon City Hall, Gyeonggi International Ceramix Biennale, South Korea, “A.prize 2012 Exposynergy award architecture” that aims to capture the buildings of our time, rewarding valuable architecture and “Next Generation” by Metropolis Magazine for “Casa não Casa”.
