About Canis Major

Canis Major was established with a clear mission: to reinvent the talent landscape by combining deep industry roots with modern, borderless employment solutions. Our firm is led by three practitioners-turned-consultants, and that DNA defines our entire approach. We are a collective of former industry experts and specialized recruiters who have lived the roles we now fill. This "real-world" experience allows us to evaluate talent with a level of technical and cultural precision that traditional firms simply cannot replicate. We operate as a strategic bridge across Asia’s most dynamic markets. With a physical presence and deep-rooted networks in Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, we provide our partners with an unparalleled "boots-on-the-ground" advantage. We don't just understand the geography; we understand the distinct regulatory environments and talent nuances of each hub. To support our clients’ growth, we offer two core pillars of service: - Recruitment Consultancy: Leveraging our practitioner-led insights and deep Asian networks to identify, engage, and secure your talent. - Employer of Record (EoR): Enabling compliant, borderless hiring in Indonesia. We handle the complexities of local payroll, taxes, and labor laws, allowing you to deploy talent in the country rapidly without the need for a local legal entity. This combination of specialized search and operational support means that whether you are a global enterprise scaling into Asia or a candidate aiming for a career-defining role, you have the best of both worlds: the strategic depth of an international consultancy and the tactical agility of a local expert. We are confident that our practitioner-led methodology and integrated service model will add significant value to your organization. Get in touch to find out more.
