About Canterbury Women's Legal Association

The Canterbury Women’s Legal Association was established to support, educate and provide networking opportunities for women lawyers in the Canterbury region. We achieve this by organising social functions including a mid-winter dinner and Christmas lunch, our annual conference and various seminars. Full membership is open to all females who hold a law degree. Associate membership is available to legal students, legal executives and law librarians. There are many benefits for members of the Association. Members support the association and its objectives, which in turn exists to support them. Also, members are entitled to attend events organised by the Association at a discounted rate. The combination of these discounts is well in excess of the membership fee.
