Today, Terre dei Santi stands as one of the most significant wine-producing cooperatives in the heart of Piedmont, within the Asti-Turin-Alba triangle. Its 140 members cultivate 340 hectares of vineyards—2,300 plots—across three historically renowned hilly areas: the Chierese, located in the southeastern part of the Turin province; the Castelnovese, which includes a wide area of gentle hills in northwestern Monferrato; and the hills of San Damiano d'Asti, stretching northeast of the Roero region. This is the “heart of Piedmont,” both a geographic center and a guardian of a rich heritage of native grape varieties and designations waiting to be discovered: Freisa di Chieri, Freisa d’Asti, Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Albugnano, Cari, Bonarda, as well as Barbera and Arneis.
